Super Star is back with Kochadaiyan

Super Star Rajinikanth is back after a long break in his next Tamil period film Kochadaiyan which is written by K.S Ravikumar and directed by Soundharya R. Dhanush. Alongside Rajnikanth, there are several other characters that are in lead. This movie is full and full captured in 3D. Music is composed by A.R Rahman, Cinematography by Rajiv Menon. The movie is releasing in three languages (Tamil, Telugu, English).

After Enthiran, unfortunately, due to certain health problems with the Super Star, the idea of the movie Rana eventually got dropped. After he recovered, Kochadaiyan came into limelight having Soundharya and Ravikumar working on the script.

Apart from Rajnikanth, Sarathkumar, Shobana, Rukmini, Nassar, Aadhi, Jackie Shroff and Nagesh are also playing the lead role. Soundharya considered Katrina Kaif and Vidhya Balan for the main female lead, but finally it was signed by Deepika Padukone. This movie is produced and distributed by Eros Entertainment and Media One Global. The movie is expected to be released on August 2012.
