Samantha out of Shankar's Next Project

Director Shankar and Vikram are teaming up for their 2nd new film which has been titled "I", which is an political subject which revolves around cash for votes scam. Samantha has been roped for female lead role in this movie. But now the latest buzz is that, Samantha is not acting in this film and director Shankar is looking for a replacement for Samantha in this film. However this is not confirmed officially. 

This movie will be made in both Telugu and Tamil versions. A.M.Rathnam will produce this film in Surya Movies Banner. A.R.Rahman will compose the music and P.C.Sreeram is the cinematographer.The regular shooting of this movie will start from July 15, 2012.
